Gallery Assistants

Recruitment for Senior Gallery Assistants and Gallery Assistants takes place throughout the year. Click here for information on how to make an application to work at the Serpentine Gallery as a Gallery Assistant.

The Serpentine Gallery is committed to equal opportunities and encourages applications from all sectors of society.

Internships

The Serpentine Gallery offers a limited number of unpaid volunteer internships throughout the year on full or part-time basis.

Internship Opportunities: Research Assistant to Co-director

We are currently accepting applications for two 3 - 6 month internship opportunities starting in September and October 2008. The positions are ideally full time, 5 days a week Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm, but consideration will also be given to applicants available to commit to at least 3 days a week.

The positions are unpaid and are based in the Co-director’s offsite office near the Serpentine Gallery, working alongside the Co-director’s PA.

The role is largely administrative and research-based and will appeal to students or graduates of art disciplines interested in gaining an overview of the Co-director’s work. However, please note this is not a curatorial traineeship. If you are interested in this position, please send your CV and a short covering letter, detailing when you are available to start and which days, to internship@serpentinegallery.org

Due to the nature of this internship you will need a valid work permit or student visa, and must be 18 years or over.

We regret that due to a large number of applications it is not possible to personally reply to everyone.
