Two days of music played by a 1970s revival band assembled by Hiwa K. Performances take place at Al Shishawi café on the Edgware Road and are followed by a discussion about the 1970s in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon and Afghanistan.

First come first served. Seating is limited.

Hiwa K is a visual artist and musician, born in Iraq and living in Germany. This spring, Hiwa K works with local musicians to stage a series of events exploring music and the politics of London and the Middle East in the 1970s.
