Japanese artist Tadashi Kawamata (born 1953) is known for his ephemeral architectural structures and for the unusual research and planning that precedes their construction.
This limited-edition print was conceived by the artist and produced on the occasion of the Relocation Project on the Serpentine Gallery lawn.
Kawamata’s most recent solo exhibitions and projects have included Ayers Gallery, Atlantic Center for the Arts, Florida; Sert Gallery, Harvard University Art Museums; and Toyota Municipal Museum of Art, Japan.
