The Serpentine Gallery is delighted to present a Limited Edition Print by American artist Richard Prince, to coincide with the exhibition Richard Prince: Continuation (26 June – 7 September 2008).
Prince (b.1949) is one of the world's most celebrated artists and one of its greatest artistic innovators. For his first major exhibition in a UK gallery, the artist has selected a range of works from his own collection, including highlights of an extraordinary 30-year career in painting, photography and sculpture, as well as new works that have not been seen before.
The exhibition follows Prince’s successful show at the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum, New York. Works by the artist have set record prices at auction and are collected by leading public and private collections worldwide, including: Museum of Modern Art, New York; Solomon R Guggenheim Museum, New York; and Tate, London.
