Frank Gehry invited Britain’s foremost composer Thomas Adès to curate and perform in the opening concert of the 2008 Pavilion. A dazzling pianist, composer and conductor, Adès combined his own music with that of the legendary composer of fiendish piano music, Conlon Nancarrow.
