Zaha Hadid is an architect who consistently pushes the boundaries of architecture and urban design and in 2004 she was awarded The Pritzker Architecture Prize.
Lilas celebrates the specially commissioned installation created on the occasion of The Summer Party 2007. Lilas took inspiration from complex natural geometries such as flower petals and leaves.
Hadid’s work has received global recognition from the Mies van der Rohe Foundation of European Architecture, the American Institute of Architects and the Royal Institute of British Architects. Her current projects include: the Architecture Foundation in London; the Aquatic Centre for the London 2012 Olympic Game and the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Sardinia.
