British artist Nils Norman was artist-in-residence for two years at The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields, one of the UK’s largest organisations for homeless people. Norman has researched and created Charing Cross, a graphic novel that explores historical concepts of homelessness, neo-liberalisation of the city and its impact upon people who use and inhabit public space. The project will culminate in spring 2008 and has been made possible with the support of Fondation de France.
