The Edgware Road in London is the setting for a series of artists’ residencies and commissions that will consider the area’s social and political histories from both a local and international perspective. Developed through partnership with community groups and international art organisations Ashkal Alwan, Beirut and Townhouse Gallery, Cairo, the project will culminate in a large-scale exhibition on the road in 2009. The project is in development with the support of the Eranda Foundation and Westminster Arts.
