Dis-assembly
The Serpentine Gallery commissioned artists Faisal Abdu’Allah, Christian Boltanski, Runa Islam, and architect Yona Friedman to make work in North Westminster Community School, London, one of Britain’s largest inner-city secondary schools.
This publication analyses the resulting project and provides a model for the commissioning of artists in an educational context. Contributors include Lars Bang Larsen, Andrea Phillips and Hans Ulrich Obrist.
